Una callejoneada!
Friday we got to experience an experience unique to Guanajuato... a callejoneada! We were serenaded through the winding, narrow streets of the city. The kids had a blast! A few even got to act out the legend of the "Callejon del beso"!
After a fun night of singing and dancing in the streets, we got up early on Saturday to spend our last day with the women of the Conservas de Santa Rosa. We had a blast making mango jam, and on top of that, Mexico won their second World Cup game! Vamos México!
Tomorrow we are off to our final service site... El Proyecto Lavanda! We are leaving the city life behind us and heading out to el campo. It will be nice to spend a week outside free of the chaos of the city (and perhaps even more frightening for the kids... free of wifi and internet!). Wish us luck!
