Tokyo Summer Session Start!
After months of anticipation, coursework, and 10-20 hour plane rides our students are finally in Japan!!
On June 9th, the kids met their CIEE family- the staff and students who they will be studying Japanese language and culture with for the next 4 weeks.
As you can see we're off to a great start making new friends and classmates. All are participants made it safe to the hotel thanks to our caring Tokyo staff.
After staying in a Narita hotel for the night we made our way by bus for Tokyo.
But Wait!
This was a perfect chance for us to visit a famous temple nearby. Students enjoyed stretching their legs the seeing the wonderful structures at the 1000 year old Buddhist stemple, "Narita-san".
Now that we've taken in some rich history, its time to head to the big city!
