From Texas to Costa Rica!
It’s never too soon to start experiencing life abroad. A perfect example of this is our first-ever group of middle schoolers in the STEM immersion in Spanish program in Costa Rica. After an early start, we finally arrived at the airport in San Jose, where we got to put our language skills into action right away being interviewed by a super fun immigration officer. We were cheering after the officer stamped each one of our passports and said: ¡Aprovado! ¡Bienvenido a Costa Rica!
On our way to Monteverde, we soon discovered that here the weather can go from clear, sunny skies to a heavy downpour in a blink of an eye. It's pretty amazing!
We can't wait to experience all the classes, activities, and excursions that CIEE center staff has planned for us!
