Taekwondo Tuesday!
On Tuesdays, we do taekwondo.
Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art, developed after World War II by Korean martial artists with backgrounds in Chinese and Japanese fighting styles. Taekwondo is characterized by punching and kicking, with emphasis on head-height kicks, spinning kicks, and fast kicks. The traditional uniform is called a dobok. Check out CIEE students as they step outside of the realm of K-Pop and take a taekwondo class from local masters!
