Student Takeover: Team Bonding
A few times a week the students are going to take over the blog to give everyone some updates from their perspective, this week Zakiya wrote the following post:
Team Bonding
I personally think that the best thing about this trip is being able to go with a group. At first, when I was completing the pre-departure online courses, I was nervous to meet everyone and I thought they wouldn’t like me. However, after I them I realized that we had more in common than what differed. It is way more fun to experience going abroad with a group rather then by yourself. Especially when you all share a common goal and it is accomplished. I truly believe that being able to work with my new friends while helping the world is my favorite part of the trip.
