Read for a student reflection on a visit to the aeropsace museum Aeroscopia from Javier Rattia Partida, a high school participant  from Texas.

"Aeroscopia is a fascinating museum situated in the heart of the aerospace industry that demonstrates the history of aviation and showcases an impressive collection of aircraft,engines, and aerospace artifacts.  Located just a short distance from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, Aeroscopia stands as a representation of the region's profound identity regarding the aerospace industry.

Toulouse has been a key player in aviation history, and the museum proudly displays its heritage. Aeroscopia offers a comprehensive journey through the entire history of aviation. As you step into Aeroscopia, you are immediately greeted by an array of aircraft on display within the museum, including legendary planes such as the Airbus A300B, Concorde, both of which you are able to explore inside, and the famous Super Guppy.

The tour takes you back to the early 20th century when aviation was only achievable within the human imagination. Here, you can explore replicas and exhibits of the Wright brothers' aircraft, and a real model of the iconic Blériot XI, as well as other groundbreaking planes that paved theway for modern aviation.


Furthermore, you’ll encounter legendary fighter planes from the World Wars like the Spitfire, Messerschmitt, and the P-51 Mustang. These aircraft offer insights into the rapid technological advancements of the time. As you progress further into the museum, you'll witness the evolution of aviation into the jet age. This segment showcases various commercial airliners, including the Airbus A300 and the A380, demonstrating the progress made in passenger travel. Additionally, the supersonic marvel, Concorde, stands as the museum’s gem, as you get insight into its history and are even able to explore the inside.
