My favorite part of china was when we went to hangzhou and saw the six harmonious pagoda. it was constructed with wood and brink in the southern song dynasty. the pagoda has a magnificent appearance and locals consider it a brave general standing on the bank of qiantang river. inside the pagoda, each floor has different carvings on bricks and a small chamber which is used to enshrine buddha figures. although there is no elevator and you must walk to the top, it is worth the climb. the view from the top of the pagoda is so beautiful. you can see amazing green mountains on one side and the city buildings on the other. at the top, it is very peaceful and relaxing and is definitely a great sight to see!
