Pazzi per la pizza!
Ciao a tutti!
Have you ever wanted the opportunity to make pizza? Well, today students had that opportunity! After class where they learned about how to talk and describe their family members and their community conversation activity, students ventured over to Rosso Pomodoro, where they took part in a pizza making lesson and even got to make their own pizza! Students made margherita pizza, which is the original Italian pizza born in Napoli. La pizza margherita was named after Queen Margherita, with green for the basil, white for the cheese, and red for the tomato sauce to represent the colors of the Italian flag.
Students also received a pizza maker starter kit: apron, chef hat, and recipe book. Students made their own pizza, they got to savor their own creation! Buon appetito!
