Our last few days in Copenhagen!
This week the Global Navigators engaged in their final coursework, started their sustainanability presentation preparation and experienced some additional aspects of Danish society and culture. Students participated in a celebration in the town center for the Tour De France winner, Jonas Vingegaard, who is from Denmark. We also visited a few famous museums in Copenhagen, including The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, which presents the collection represents the private art collection of Carl Jacobsen, and the Thorvaldsen Museum dedicated to the art of Danish neoclassicistic sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen, who lived and worked in Rome for most of his life. The group also enjoyed dinner at the Folkehuset Absalon, which is a community cultural center that offers classes and family style meals.
