New experiences in week two

Starting off our first week we had a free day to explore Prague for ourselves. Many met at the end of the day to go to the movies in Prague. Fun fact all the movies are in English with Czech subtitles because of the about if tourists that visit. Monday we went to our first digital art class where we learned the basics of the software we will be working with this week. We had full creative control over what we created and it was so fun to learn this new form of art. Then toured Prague castle and learned so much about Czech history and the churches here. We had free time and a group of us went to try a famous Czech dessert called Trdelník. Which is ice cream stuffed in a donut croissant. Tuesday we had day 2 of class and learned how to make a wine glass digitally. It was a big accomplishment for a lot of us and we left very proud. Then we had Czech language class and a cooking class. Cooking class was one of the best parts of this experience so far because not only did we learn about Czech cuisine we made it and ate it all together. We had a 3 course meal which included soup, goulash, and apple strudel. It was an amazing end to our day and I’m so excited for the rest of the week !
