A Mixture of New and Old
Today we went to The Bund, which is one of Shanhai's most beautiful places. I loved the big buildings and the color at night because we don’t have that in North Carolina. The bund has a long history, it was one of the biggest and only place for trading for goods back then.
The buildings were spectacular and they all were unique shapes. They also had European styled buildings that I found interesting because they are not like other modern Chinese buildings. The Bund was a mixture of modern high rise and old European architecture making the place special and a place to remember.
