Hiking Pisac Ruins & Cusco Excursion
¡Buenos días!
We just completed our first week in Pisac! We are having a wonderful time here. On Friday afternoon, we took a van up to the Pisac Archaeological Park to see the ancient ruins and learn more about Pisac's history. Check out our video below to see our hike through the ruins!
On Saturday, we left Pisac in the early morning to make our way to Cusco. Cusco was once the ancient capital of the Incan Empire, and we were able to do a walking tour to see the mezcla of Incan and Spanish architecture. Once we walked into the Plaza de Armas, we were so excited to see a big screen of the World Cup match between Peru and Denmark! We got to experience the fútbol game with local Cusceños -- what a unique opportunity!
