Getting to know the group and the city.
In order to foster integration and collaboration among students, different group activities have been carried out.
Snowball fight to know each other
In order to get to know each other they wrote on a sheet of paper answers to personal questions that let them know about their life, their reasons for traveling, the things they don't like, their fears and what they hope to achieve on this trip, many of the answers allowed them to get to know each other even better and to know what things they had in common.
They made a snowball and the war began, the balls traveled from one side of the courtyard to the other and in the end they all took a ball.
Now they would have to look for the person who had written those answers and ask him or her more questions so they could get to know each other even better.
This allowed them to play and interact.
Downtown Merida Rally
The students were divided into teams to look for specific cultural points in the center of the city, all together they followed the instructions that allowed them to reach the destination, achieving the same location in the streets of Merida.
As part of the activity some of the tasks required them to talk to local people who would give them information about a particular place or famous person.
They interacted with the community asking their questions and asking for directions to the place they had to look for, entering stores, theaters, the cathedral, museums and other buildings where art and culture were not lacking.
The shield of the group
In order to identify themselves as a group and as a team, they created the shield of the class.
Through brainstorming, ingenuity, creativity and teamwork, they were able to create different shields that represented them as a group.
The designs and ideas that they came up with as a group revealed the artist and the leadership that each one of them has inside.
Birthday!!!!!
On Tuesday we had the great opportunity to celebrate Edwin's birthday! We were so happy to have "pastel" and we sang "Las Mañanitas". In Spanish we say "Feliz Cumpleaños" to say "Happy birthday"
