First week in the Czech Republic
It’s the end of our first week in Prague and we’ve already done so much. Every day we went to art class and Czech language. Learning greetings and phrases, many of us have already put it to use. We did a walking tour around Prague with an amazing guide. Continued trying all kinds of Czech cuisine and transportations. Today we took a day trip to Kutna Hora just an hour outside of Prague but full of a new things. We visited the cemetery of bones and St Barbaras cathedral. Then went to an art workshop and used methods from one of the most famous Czech artists of the 21sy century,Adriena Šimotová. We experimented with different textures and traced body parts with pastel to create and abstract piece. It was amazing to see and experience the art, language, cuisine, architecture and culture of the Czech Republic and I’m so excited for the rest of this program !
