The fun has begun! When Session 2 Global Navigators arrived safely in Seoul on Sunday, they were greeted with orange shirts, smiling faces, and a hefty dinner. It was a blur, but everyone was able to settle in and get some rest before the next day. With a scavenger hunt planned for Monday afternoon, the students were able to get their first real look at Seoul that morning by exploring the neighborhood of Insadong.

Enter, scavenger hunt! The group split into teams and set off to explore Seoul. We took photos at the Gangnam Style statue, went shopping at COEX mall, admired modern architecture at The Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and ended at Sungnyemun Gate which boasts traditonal architecture and years of history.

After orientation, the students went to a restaurant to have their first traditional Korean meal featuring a selection of banchan like kimchi, duck, shrimp, bulgogi, scallion pajeon, fishcake, japchae, and bean sprouts.
