After our wonderful few days at the beach, it was time to move inland! We spent the last couple of days in Guayacán, a small village known for its volcanic hot springs!

While here we visited a geothermal plant, sun farm, and wind farm and learned about the positives and negatives associated with each of these sustainable sources of energy. Students even made their own wind turbines!

Checking out a geothermal plant:

Visiting a local waterfall:

Taking advantage of the volcanic mud!

Tomorrow we are off to Monteverde!
