A day in the city
What a beautiful day to visit the city center of Lisbon. Today students learned how to navigate Lisbon's four line rapid transit system, taking multiple lines alongside the locals to reach their destination.
Once reaching their last stop, students walked the beautiful tiled streets and sidewalks, taking photos of historic buildings and structures, including the oldest book store in the world (The Bertrand Bookstore).
From the top of a look out, the students gazed out upon the beautiful sprawling landscape. As their eyes soaked in the beauty, their ears took note of all of the facts and details surrounding the landscape that were provided by the Lisbon tour guide.
Afterwards, students spent some free time with friends, exploring the city center, grabbing gelato and exchanging currency. You can't buy a pasta de nata without Euros!
