Capturing Memories Along The Way

Week one is done and I asked the students to send me a photo with a small caption to showcase their updated photography skills.  What they sent me is a great representation of what you get when you mix art with studying abroad.  In CIEE Global Discovery we take learning from the classroom to the real world.  As you may remember, week one was focused on photography and photographing is what we did.  With all the picturesque views Prague has to offer, students are often stopping in their tracks to snap another photo.  We spent time in the studio learning different styles of photography, out in the city practicing these new styles and on the computer learning new ways to be creative with Photoshop.  Not only are we touring the city and surrounding areas learning about the history but we are getting a chance to use our newly aquired skills.  This week we are taking it to another level, learning how to work with 3D graphics.  I hope you all enjoy their photos and the creative captions describing what they mean to them.  Remember photos can be interpreted in many ways.  As you read their captions, imagine what they are discovering and how they are growing in this experience studying abroad.
