British Museum and Birthday in London
-
Anyone a huge history buff? If so, you HAVE to visit London just for the British Museum! So many famous and beautiful artifacts are there on display for all to see like the Rosetta Stone! We were all able to go as our first official excursion and had a scavenger hunt throughout the museum! Afterwards, a few friends and I headed over to Russell Square Garden and read our books from Waterstones yesterday. The park is so beautiful and full of joy, it's such a refreshing and peaceful place to be. To end the night, the whole theater group (yes all 16 of us) headed to a restaurant called Nandos to celebrate one of our fellow group members' birthday! The staff was so patient and helpful with us so super grateful to them! We stayed a bit after as well to shop around the square. My roommate and I stumbled upon an Asian supermarket called Tian Tian Market where we started our room snack corner! We also visited some tourist gift shops and the local pharmacy for some face masks as a future group room hangout idea! Super excited for what's to come!
