A Baltic Getaway
Griefswald
On Saturday, the students left the bustling city of Berlin to head to the (relatively) quiet city of Griefswald in northeastern Germany. Upon arrival, students enjoyed lunch at a nearby steakhouse and then checked into their rooms in a village outside of Griefswald called Wieck.
Students dropped off their bags, grabbed their swimsuits, and headed to the beach! Some of our students played Volleyball until it was time to head back to the hostel.
During our stay, there was a festival called Fischerfest. There were games, food stands, and a Riesenrad (Ferris Wheel).
On Sunday, students explored the city of Griefswald through a guided tour.
It was a wonderful weekend at the Baltic to say the least!
