Artist Visit: Anoushka Lucas

What a treat today was! We had the privilege of meeting West End star Anoushka Lucas, who is currently starring in the revival of Oklahoma! at the Young Vic. We saw the production last week, but today she came in to the CIEE center to tell us about her life, process and answer questions from students.
We learned about her creative process, her life path that brought her to starring in a sold out show here in London, transitioning from song writer to musical theatre performer and even how she mastered the American accent! She was truly so kind and our students asked a lot of wonderful questions! How lucky are we to have the personal time with Anoushka and dive even deeper into our topic of theatre.
