Arrivals, Orientation and Host Families, Oh, My!

Our Honors Spanish Language and Culture Global Navigators have arrived in Madrid safe and sound! Upon arrival, we checked into the hotel, fought off jetlag by doing a walking tour of the city and then back to our hotel for a group dinner and an early nights rest! During orientation we covered Health and Saftey, how to navigate the Madrid Metro system and learned what the program has in store for our courageous Global Navigators. In the evening, we met our host families and then had a heart-felt send off to go live the real Spanish lifestyle. As we move through the week, we begin our daily cultural activities, Spanish language and culture lessons and enjoying all that the magical city of Madrid has to offer!
