Anonymous Student Takeover Part 2!
Coming on this trip and realizing I didn’t know anyone made me extremely anxious. Once I got here and connected with everyone, I realized that they were all very accepting as well as open minded. Just being here for a week has really made me realize how fortunate and blessed I am in many ways and at times I forget to recognize that. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces proved that wealth is not the key to life. My eyes have truly been opened to the other ways of life I've now seen in different countries. I am so fortunate to be able to come here and experience a totally opposite world from the one I’ve known all my life. I don’t know what I have done to be able to deserve the life that I have been given. I am excited to learn more from others here and I am hoping to grasp every since second.
