QUIZ: Where to Live in Spain?

Congratulations-- you have received your school placement for the Teach in Spain CIEE Program based in Madrid! Now, you need to decide if you would like to live close to the city center or near your school. I hope this quiz helps you to decide where you will be the happiest. I would also recommend that you visit your school’s town before deciding. At the end of the day, the decision is all yours and you will have a wonderful time in Spain no matter what you choose! I chose to live in the town of my school (Alcalá de Henares). I love only having a 12 minute walk to school each morning through quiet and cute streets. I feel lucky to have the best of both worlds; I am living in a historic and beautiful town but Madrid is close enough to visit regularly. On the nights that I want to stay out past 10pm, I really regret living over an hour away from most of my friends but, luckily for me, those nights are rare. At the end of the day, I am happy to be living near my school and to feel part of the community!
