Bianca B.

Bianca is fascinated by study abroad, having participated in eight programs as a student and two as staff, across ten different countries. She is particularly interested in how study abroad is both community-driven and individually-experienced, leading to an incredible variety of narratives for all of us! At Carnegie Mellon, Bianca is focusing her PhD research in study abroad interactions, as well as the roles of learner autonomy and metacognition in language learning outcomes.
