Toulouse is often referred to as the European capital of aerospace. It is home to Airbus, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, with its global headquarters and main assembly lines here. Additionally, the city’s proximity to airports, simulation centers, and air traffic facilities provides great opportunities for learning. There's a strong focus on cutting-edge aviation tech, like drones, green aviation, and space systems, which makes the city an ideal location for aviation studying and research.

SITE VISITS

Here are just a few of the possibilities for co-curricular activities and excursions in Toulouse: 

  • A guided tour of Airbus, led by a professional guide explaining the entire aircraft production process. Students will learn about aerodynamic testing, engineering, logistics and Airbus' future tech.
  • Visit to Aeroscopia Museum, a place of memory and life, retracing the history and missions of aviation: commercial, tourist and leisure, military, scientific and experimental. 
  • Visit to La Cite de L’espace, a scientific discovery center focused on spaceflight. This interactive science center offers a diverse range of exhibits and experiences for the students. 
  • An overnight excursion to Paris and an opportunity to participate in aviation-related activities, such as visiting Air and Space Museum.
