Annie Rivera

Annie Rivera, M.Ed., is the World Languages Supervisor (K-12) in Lewisville Independent School District in Texas. Her teaching background includes foreign language, dual language, and ESL at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels in Texas and abroad. In addition, she is a published author and serves on the STARTALK team as a site visitor for Korean. Annie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and began her doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University. She is trilingual and proud of being a part of both Korean and Peruvian families. However, her greatest life accomplishment thus far is raising her young daughter as a fully “trilingual", “triliterate" and "tricultural” global citizen who is proud of her heritage.
