Czech Republic
Hometown: Larchmont, NY

After growing up in the suburbs of NYC, Emily made a giant leap to the suburbs of New London, CT in order to attend Connecticut College. During that time she spent a semester in Prague and a summer in Belize--both experiences that fostered her love of travel and adventure. After graduating in 2016, despite having degrees in both American Studies and Dance, she found herself back in NYC with a disheartening lack of marketable skills. After juggling every part-time job known to humankind, she fell in love with tutoring and decided to pursue a career in teaching. She is absolutely thrilled to be back in the Czech Republic as an English Teacher. When she's not teaching or lesson planning, she enjoys French literature, comedy podcasts, running, and afternoon naps.
