Hi there! My name is Ally, and I am thrilled to be in the 42nd cohort of the CBYX High School program! I am from Helena, Mt., am 15 years old, homeschooled, and have 5 siblings. Some of my hobbies include sports, handcrafts (like crochet), quilting, skiing, and gardening. I love reading, discussing politics, and academics (I am a rising Junior). I am fascinated by international relations and am especially passionate about Eastern Europe. As I prepare and progress through the year ahead, I hope that this blog will serve as a way to realistically document the challenges, ups and downs of my exchange year in Germany, so that future exchangers will be better equipped, less intimidated, and more excited for life in a foreign country.
