Cape Town dams are collectively at 74% full with some at overcapacity with sluice gates open to direct water to other dams. This year’s water supply surpasses the levels of 2015, 2016, and of course 2017 which has resulted in Cape Town officials having announced already that there will be no “Day Zero” in 2019.
Plus, The University of Cape Town, CIEE's university partner for the semester-long Arts and Sciences program in Cape Town, rose considerably in the Times Higher Education World Rankings. It is now ranked #156 in the world and #1 in Africa!
