This turnkey solution is ideal if you’re hiring 50 students or less, or would prefer to use our recruitment resources. CIEE’s trained recruiters act on your behalf, interviewing candidates face-to-face, and matching them with your requirements.
CIEE Road Shows
If you need to hire a large number of students, a CIEE Road Show is for you. We organize and run multi-stop international hiring events that enable you to meet, interview, and hire prospective candidates in person, in their home countries. We handle all of the details, including your travel arrangements.
CIEE Virtual Road Show
With CIEE Virtual Road Show, you can interview and hire students from many countries without leaving your office. We offer flexible virtual hiring via teleconference directly from your place of business. Interviews with pre-screened candidates are scheduled ahead of time for your convenience.
Your positions will be marketed to a diverse pool of candidates like our CIEE Recruit service but you control the interview process and make the hiring decisions.

We Do The Research For You
Finding the right candidates for your business can be a time-consuming task. Every CIEE hiring service includes extensive reporting and candidate information, making the process more efficient. CIEE aims to give you all the information you need to find the best candidates for your seasonal team.
Our user-friendly online portal – Beacon – allows you to set up your company and job information the way you wish it to appear to potential participants. Beacon also provides you with hiring reports, participant resumes, English proficiency ratings, and interview notes. These tools will provide you with an opportunity to familiarize yourself with your new participants before they arrive and learn more about why they’re excited to experience the United States and how they’ll fit in with your seasonal team.

That’s why CIEE makes sure our participants arrive ready to join your team. All of our participants are carefully screened, thoroughly prepared, and excited to experience life in the United States, first-hand.
To be eligible for the CIEE Work & Travel USA program, participants must:
- Qualify for legal entry into the United States under the J-1 exchange visitor visa
- Be at least 18 years old, no more than 30 years old, and registered as a full-time college student
- Be able to function in an English -speaking environment, both at work and in the community
CIEE provides visa assistance, an in-depth orientation, access to cultural exchange events and guidance, and travel insurance. In addition, comprehensive support is available throughout the program, including regulatory compliance reminders. We take care of the details, so you can focus on running your business.
