Nearly all areas of Spain celebrate carnival in the period of roughly two weeks before Lent is a time of festivities without inhibitions or disguises. Floats, music and general merry making before Ash Wednesday rolls around and puts an end to the fun. It is always around the month of February. Cádiz is a town close to Sevilla, where a lot of the HSA students are placed. A lot of families either have family in Cádiz or just like to go to celebrate the Carnival.

See below some photos where you can see students and host families having a great time.
