CIEE is a global organization, staffed with dedicated problem-solvers adept at collaboration across teams and time-zones. Our international staff operates the largest nonprofit network of study abroad centers at 25+ locations around the world, while in the United States, our organization is remote-first with staff based across the United States and small centers of operation in Boston and Portland, Maine.

All of us at CIEE are committed to fostering understanding and developing connections between local and global communities.  You can see this reflected in our company culture, from the personal photo-sharing segment of our monthly all-staff Town Halls, to our virtual Stammtisch (German for “regulars table”) get togethers, which are online social events hosted by one of our international teams who share the history, customs, and culture of their country.

In our last employee engagement survey, employees consistently cited the mission and the opportunity to work with engaged, interested, and motivated people as reasons for staying at CIEE
