CIEE was founded in the wake of World War II to nurture peace by helping people connect across those last three feet. Our study abroad and international exchange programs bring people from different backgrounds together for the everyday moments that reveal our shared humanity, such as sharing a meal, collaborating on a project, playing a game, or swapping stories.
We believe that bridging differences through personal contact is crucial.
Because the simple act of one person talking to another can create a more tolerant and more peaceful world.
