Douglass O’Connell Global Internship Program
The Douglass–O’Connell Global Internship Program in Ireland prepares high-achieving, Pell-eligible students for future career success through the powerful combination of international education and a global internship in Ireland. Students complete an 8-week global internship in Dublin, following in the footsteps of Frederick Douglass and Daniel O’Connell through lectures and excursions throughout Ireland, learning important lessons on leadership and social reform while gaining important skills that will enhance their future careers.

Scan Design Foundation Environmental Sustainability Internship
The Scan Design Foundation Environmental Sustainability Internship in Copenhagen deepens interns’ understanding of environmental sustainability in the Danish context by exploring innovative approaches to sustainability. Open to Pell-eligible students, the fellowship equips participants with practical skills to enhance their career readiness and tackle future environmental challenges.

Knowledge Without Borders: Democracy and Memory Fellowship
The Knowledge Without Borders: Democracy and Memory Fellowship is designed for Pell-eligible students to examine democracy and memory across Berlin’s layered history. The fellowship includes courses on German history and Berlin’s cultural and political landscape while students explore one of the world’s most important living classrooms.
Students return with new professional skills and connections, a deeper understanding of the culture in their host city, and greater self-confidence in their academic and career goals.
