Marie Schwartz is the Founder of TeenLife.com, a leading discovery platform that helps families and students explore teen-centered academic and experiential learning opportunities, including summer and gap programs in the U.S. and abroad, as well as degree-granting institutions including private high schools and colleges. She is deeply committed to expanding access to meaningful academic and experiential learning opportunities for learners of all ages.
Prior to founding TeenLife.com in 2008, Marie worked for McKinsey, American Express, Scudder Stevens & Clark, and Nelson Information. Her background in marketing and business development in the travel industry, together with her experience as a parent of teenage boys, inspired her to launch TeenLife.com.
Marie serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Washington D.C.
A U.S. citizen who spent her formative years in Germany, Belgium, and France, Marie is fluent in three languages. She graduated from the American School of Paris, earned a BSE from Princeton University, studied business at the University of Hamburg as a DAAD scholarship recipient, and received her MBA from Harvard Business School.
