Q: Please introduce yourself.
A: My name is Chris Ellis, and I'm the director for Easter Seals Camp Sno-Mo in New Hampshire. I've been here for 15 years, and I have worked with staff from CIEE for all of the 15 years.
Q: What has your relationship with CIEE looked like?
We've been using CIEE to hire about 75% of our staff for about 15 years.
Q: What have you liked about CIEE, and why do you keep coming back?
A: The platform (Beacon) is easy to use. It allows us to capture as much information as possible about the staff. It also allows us to put out a lot of information, so the staff know more about us before they arrive, which is super helpful.
Q: How have CIEE participants worked out for you over the years?
The staff are amazing, mostly because they understand what they're coming for. We're a specialty camp – we have special-needs kids – so it's very important they understand the types of clients that they'll be working with. Having the ability to show them and give them information before they arrive helps them prepare before they arrive here.
Q: What else would you add about CIEE if someone else was looking to hire counselors through us?
They're available around the clock, always able to get ahold of somebody. Plus, there are frequently asked questions about camp on the website, which really are frequently asked questions. It's not just a page of questions that have been occasionally asked. They answer every question that you could possibly have – including silly ones – which does happen a lot. It's just a great resource and a wonderful group of people to help.

It's just been great working with them, and we hope to continue!
