I finally achieved my dream internship – it was truly a dream come true as I took in the breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline. I worked for a media and marketing agency in Queens, a borough known as a melting pot of mixed cultures.
It was an exciting opportunity to gain experience within my desired role as a publishing intern. I attended business meetings and assisted with photo shoots by creating marketing content and writing feature articles for digital web and social media platforms.
In my free time, I enjoyed exploring all the city had to offer. I visited iconic landmarks like Top of The Rock, The Statue of Liberty, Central Park. I shopped at Macy’s and checked out thrift stores. And, of course, I tried a lot of tasty food. It is true what they say: "There’s never a dull moment in New York City."
