My American Internship: Pierre Henri P. of France
Our "My American Internship" series features CIEE BridgeUSA participants who submitted entries to our photo essay contest. Pierre Henri P. of France served as a risk management intern at the International Finance Bank in Miami, Florida.
My two-month internship at the International Finance Bank in Miami was an incredible experience, offering a blend of professional growth and unforgettable cultural immersion.
The first photo captures our team inside the bank, a modern and dynamic workspace where I was welcomed and truly felt like a valuable member. I was given meaningful tasks and the opportunity to learn about the intricacies of international finance firsthand. The support and guidance from my colleagues were invaluable, fostering both my skills and confidence.
Beyond the office, Miami offered a vibrant and exciting atmosphere. The second photo, taken at a Topgolf park, showcases the camaraderie and friendships I built during my time there. This outing was just one example of the fun and social experiences that made my internship so memorable. Exploring the city, trying new foods, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds enriched my understanding of American culture and created lasting memories.
This internship was more than just professional development. It was a journey of personal growth, new friendships, and a deeper appreciation for the vibrant spirit of the United States.
