Folia Water is a technology developer and manufacturer of paper filters: our business model is to sell commercial volumes of our Folia Filters™ to international consumer goods distributors who have the expertise and know-how to handle local distribution. Our vision is for our Folia Filters™ to be sold as a staple in retail stores throughout emerging markets. Universal access to safe water is possible, but only if each family has the agency to buy safe water for themselves.
Internship overview
Intern will focus on operational and organizational tasks as part of an exciting, fast-paced startup team. Responsibilities may include stakeholder/client communications (email, web-based, or phone), industry research, general office operations, event networking, and more. Opportunity to focus more on business-related projects (e.g. business plan development, market research, etc) or engineering projects (packaging/industrial design, labwork) as appropriate to students interests and qualifications.
Suggested qualifications

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong professional communication, both written and interpersonal
- Interest in technology, clean water issues, WASH, and/or humanitarian aid
