Portland, Oregon, United States

Stephanie graduated from Michigan State University in May 2017, where she studied Arabic, English, and Secondary Education. As part of the Flagship Program in Meknѐs, Morocco, she spent her final year of university studying multiple dialects of Arabic and helping build a children’s library. While at university, she was an International Student Mentor, served as Public Relations Officer of the French Club, Secretary of Arab Cultural Society and was actively involved in other various activities. Stephanie’s love of language and culture took her to Spain after graduation, where she spent two years working as an English Teaching Assistant.

This upcoming fall she's heading to Athens, Greece because she has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowship! This is Stephanie's first summer working with CIEE and she's so excited to meet her students and help them achieve their goals! She is sure they're going to have a blast!!
