Emily Ronek

Emily Ronek brings several years of non-profit experience to CIEE, working in different capacities with Danish organizations that focus on youth development. Before that, she spent a decade in international diplomacy, serving as a U.S. diplomat in Caracas, St. Petersburg, Washington DC, and Copenhagen. As a public affairs specialist, Emily worked with educational and cultural exchanges, programs and special initiatives. She began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine where, among other things, she worked with high school exchanges.

Emily is originally from West Babylon, New York, and has a Bachelor's degree in History from Fordham University and an MBA from Rome Business School. In her free time you'll find her jogging or on the soccer field.

Emily believes in the power that is inherent in international education, and is dedicated to fostering transformative experiences.
