Clara Rodes

Clara joined CIEE in 2007 and has been in the role of Senior Vice President for Global Operations for over a year.  Prior to the SVP position, Clara held several positions including Center Director for the CIEE Barcelona center; regional operations positions for six years; and, lastly serving as Vice President for Program Management from January 2019 until September 2021. As Senior VP of Global Operations, she has overall responsibility for the delivery of all CIEE programs. 

Prior to working for CIEE, Clara worked in Argentina, Spain, and the U.S. in the financial and management consulting sectors, as well as in the business education field. Specifically, she worked for eight years at the European campus of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where she held the positions of Academic Advisor and Director of Administration. In addition, Clara has been an adjunct faculty member at the University Pompeu Fabra Business and Economics Department, for the last twenty-five years, where she continues to teach Business Economics. 

Clara holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Universidad Católica Argentina, and an MBA from De Paul University. She is based in Barcelona.
