Josie Medley

Josie holds bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Global Studies and brings a background in science, international education, and cultural programming to her role at CIEE. Having studied abroad in seven countries herself, she is well acquainted with the excitement, confusion, and occasional logistical absurdity of living somewhere new. As Program Manager, she coordinates excursions, events, and other programming that help students better understand Copenhagen, Danish society, and everyday life in Denmark. Originally from Tennessee, Josie has a particular interest in literature, art, history, food, and the ways people experience and adapt to different cultures. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, weaving, exploring museums and neighbourhoods, and developing highly specific interests with very little warning.
