Faeza Khan

Faeza holds a PhD in social work from the University of Western Cape and brings over a decade of senior-level experience in higher education and international development to her role. Prior to joining CIEE, Faeza served as the Senior Student Affairs Practitioner at the University of the Western Cape, where she co-led a project focusing on AI-based mental health intervention. As a social worker, she has counseled women and youths, as well as coordinating the placement of international students at social work agencies in Cape Town. She has published numerous articles focusing on students’ psychosocial and academic experiences and has taught undergraduate and master's level courses at her university. She is excited to foster international understanding among CIEE students, helping them succeed in Cape Town and South Africa.
