Cherie has many years of experience in New Zealand’s tertiary education sector, beginning her career as a hospitality and tourism lecturer before progressing into senior leadership roles. As Tangata Whenua of Aotearoa New Zealand, with whakapapa to Ngāti Rehua, Cherie is passionate about international education and helping students engage with the unique culture, people, and perspectives of Aotearoa New Zealand
