CIEE and America250: Service, Exchange, and Building Stronger Communities

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, CIEE is proud to partner with America250 on projects that inspire national reflection and civic engagement, including the America Gives initiative that has already inspired more than 1.6 million volunteer hours nationwide and is on track to become one of the largest volunteer movements in U.S. history.
The mission of America Gives aligns closely with CIEE’s Community Impact Initiative, our global initiative to build bridges of peace and understanding between Americans and our international neighbors through community service. CIEE students and staff in America and around the world contributed more than 5,000 hours of community service in April and May, forging bridges of mutual understanding, trust, and respect through meaningful community engagement.
