Support Services

Support Focused on the Individual 

Since 1947, CIEE has been connecting students with the world. We've learned that support throughout the program is critical not only for students, but the host families, schools, and communities.

Local Coordinators (LCs)

LCs are available to help exchange students integrate into their host community and succeed at their host school. They act as mentor, ambassador, facilitator, troubleshooter, and friend.

24/7 Multilingual Support

Not only does our professionally trained staff speak the languages of the international students you host, but they’re available by phone around the clock for emergency support.

Supportive Host Family

Host families are carefully selected to be both cultural ambassadors and surrogate parents. As such, they provide the first line of support to any international students you host.
