Host Families

Introduction Message:

I am usually a person who likes to travel and enjoys doing activities with my family. I believe that I can definitely have fun with everyone. I would like to join a charity club or a board game club because I love to talk and enjoy my time with others. On weekends, I like to spend time at home, do different activities together. Sometimes I practice cooking with my family. In my free time, I like having my family teach me how to cook. Even though it's a bit difficult, it's done quite well.

Host Family Letter:

Dear Host Family,

I usually stay with my family on weekends. And I love spending time with them, doing activities with my family members. I often go out with my family such as going to a mall or a cafe to have a meal. Or go shopping together. Sometimes, my father takes me to help him choose the new furniture for our condo or home. I usually talk and share things with my older brother (stepbrother). I'm pretty close to him.

Per my personality, I have self-confidence, humility, and independence. I like being able to socialize and interact with others, such as being able to do activities with friends or family. I love to hang out and see new places. I also love working out, even if I get a little lazy on some days. After school, I often go batting with my friends.

my hobby is listening to Thai music. I really like it very much. In my free time, I like to practice guitar. My stepbrother was always the one who taught me. Now only a few songs can play. Sometimes on weekends, I practice cooking with my family.

At home, my responsibilities are cleaning and taking care of my own room, and doing the laundry on weekends.

My inspiration for being an exchange student is that I am looking forward to learning new cultures, making new friends, and doing new activities with my new friends and host family. I also want to have a chance to visit new places there.

Thank you,

 Pawin

Parent Letter:

Hello!

I am the father of Pawin or Win. My family members are me, my mother and Win. I have been separated with Win's mother since Win is 2.5 years old. Win's mother’s lives not far from my home. It’s about 30 minutes away by car. My mother and I have raising Win since he was young. Win is very close to his grandma because the grandma likes to indulge. During grades 1-6, Win went to school in the city by the school's shuttle van. Win had to wake up at 5 a.m. and go back home at 1-2 p.m. After Win started grade 7, he stays with his mother during the weekdays. And come back to my home on weekend because his mother's house is near the train station, so it's more convenient to go to school.

Win is a neat boy, not stubborn, not unruly. Win likes to join activities at his school, likes to talk and hang out with friends and also likes to exercise. Normally on Sunday, I will take Win and my mother to eat out together, go shopping at the mall and go to exercise in the village.

About Win’s mother, he is close with his mom too. Win’s mother likes to take Win to eat and travel to other cities. Win has one half-brother named Jack. Jack is 8 years older than Win. Win likes to consult Both learning and other problems with Jack often.

I hope Win will learn how to live abroad, and how to take care of himself. I hope that this program will provide him a chance to find himself, what is his passion, what he likes and be able to choose his future study path.
