Capture the moments that define your study abroad experience for a chance to win one of three Visa e-gift cards! Your story matters, and we want to celebrate you with the CIEE community. This contest is for current participants on any CIEE High School Semester Abroad or Gap Year Abroad program. The deadline for submissions is April 28th. Voting will take place from May 6-12 and the winner will be announced the week of May 13th.

How To Enter

  1. Fill out the below form and upload your favorite photos
  2. Follow our CIEE Global Navigators Instagram account
  3. If your photo is selected as one of the finalists, spread the word about your nomination to generate the most votes

Photo Preferences

  • We particularly love photos that capture you exploring your host city with fellow students.
  • Photos of you engaging with local culture, eating local cuisine, interacting with residents, or participating in cultural events are great!
  • If you would like to submit more than 3 photos, please fill out the form again.

How to Win

There are two opportunities to win:

  • Your photo is voted as the CIEE staff favorite pick
  • Your photo is selected as one of the finalists and receives the most votes within one week of being posted on CIEE’s Global Navigator Instagram feed.

Prizes

  • First place (most votes on Instagram): $200
  • Second place (second most votes on Instagram): $100
  • Staff pick: $100

Eligibility Guidelines

  • Must be currently studying abroad with CIEE in either a High School Semester program or Gap Year Abroad program
  • Photos must be taken while abroad on a CIEE program.
  • Photos must be high-resolution (we will not accept photos below 1200 x 1600 pixels)
  • You must provide a description for each photo, including the location the photo was taken.
  • Photo content must be appropriate – please do not submit photos that feature alcohol, any drugs or related paraphernalia, or sexual content.
  • Photos must be yours. Do not use other people’s photos or plagiarize.
  • All materials submitted to CIEE, including photographs, videos, and written content, become the sole property of CIEE upon submission. This includes, but is not limited to, all rights, title, and interest in such materials. You also grant CIEE the permission to use your name in conjunction with any media used to promote CIEE programs.
